Ken Allaire, DSO & Lead Investigator

As the son of an Exxon driller, Ken was born in San Angelo, Texas, and grew up in Midland, Texas. He attended St. Anthony’s Seminary in San Antonio and then went to Southwest Texas State University where he majored in Parapsychology. While in college, he started on a 35 year career in law enforcement which took him to the states of Texas, Colorado, and Louisiana. As a detective, Ken conducted thousands of investigations in all aspects of law enforcement and was also called for the occasional paranormal cases. In those days, those cases were referred to as the weird ‘unofficial’ cases. Currently, Ken owns and manages a service business in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. “My interests in the paranormal started while attending St. Anthony’s Seminary but was greatly intensified after a ‘near death’ experience at the age of 20.” Having witnessed the paranormal first hand on so many occasions, it was only a matter of time before he began investigating it. Besides the paranormal, one of Ken’s passions is American history. According to Ken, “Any paranormal investigation involves history.” And as Ken always says, “To make a long story short….” email Ken at: ken@everydayparanormalla.com

Maria Allaire, DSO & Lead Investigator

Maria graduated from Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with a Masters degree in anthropology. She has worked in the medico-legal field for 30 years as a law enforcement officer, a deputy coroner and as a forensic researcher. Conducting professional investigations and scientific research has become as natural to her like a-duck-to-water. “The first paranormal event I experienced was at a private business, many years ago. I had been asked, via a co-worker, to speak with the business manager about unexplainable events occurring there. During our discussion in the manager’s office, I began to experience the sensation of being in an ever-tightening vise and I left the office twice just to catch my breath. One of Maria’s favorite topics is about time and past events. “What does happen to time and past events after they occur? I guess, you could say, that’s a discussion when my theoretical and science-orientation enjoy coming together”. Paranormal research, for Maria, is the same as any other research or investigation. “A hypothesis has been put forth. Using scientific techniques, an investigation is conducted and the findings are presented. And then, naturally, you test and test some more”. As lead investigator of EPLA, Maria has not been surprised at just how common paranormal activity is. email Maria at: maria@everydayparanormalla.com

Chelsea Brown, Investigator

With a degree in Communications, Chelsea works as a grant specialist for the Governor’s office, as well as a free lance writer for several local publications. In her free time, she volunteers for a local animal shelter and kicks butt (or at least tries to) in a Baton Rouge kickball league. A Louisiana native, Chelsea feels that her state has so much more to offer than just mosquitoes and good cuisine. Rich in history and culture, she feels it is the ideal place for paranormal invest- igating. I’ve always been interested in the paranormal, and I think that my fear of the unknown is what drives me to want to learn more. We can gain so much from those that have been here before us. I feel privileged to be part of a team that honors and respects the past, as well as thrives to make their own mark in history. You can email Chelsea at: chelsea@everydayparanormalla.com

Ceasar Camarillo, Investigator

Ceasar has been in education for over 15 years, serving as both teacher and administrator. Prior to this, he was in government security for 10 years, serving as operations manager and class- ification specialist in the defense industry. He has held num- ous security clearances and has worked for JPL, BDM Internat- ional and the Loral Corp. Camarillo’s interest in paranormal investigation is both academic and clinical. “As a researcher and historian, my intent is to frame the investigation to identify inter-related issues for evaluation. There is no paranormal event that doesn’t begin with a story of origin, and that basis for the story tends to point to explanations and possible causes for the event. The paranormal investigation can be categorized within a framework that may include factual history and geographies, unexplained but witnessed phenomenon, hearsay and presumption, event timetables, and variables in environmental conditions, to name a few. It’s all part of the investigation that could lead to hard clinical evidence. And it all begins with a story. It’s usually a good one.” Ceasar’s forte is in research and history. you can email Ceasar at: ceasar@everydayparanormalla.com

Richard Foster, Investigator

Richard was born in Clinton, La and was raised in East Baton Rouge and Livingston Parishes. His first paranormal experience started when he was a child of ten, living in a home in Central. Every since that incident, his outlook on ‘life and death’ has had a new understanding. Richard started his 15 year career in law enforcement with the Department of Public Safety. At the same time, he worked in the private sector in the private security field. This gave him the ability to learn techniques that now aid him in paranormal research. He continues his career as a local sheriff’s deputy and a paranormal investigator. “Since my first experience at the age of ten, I realized just how fragile life really is. I love to help people and put the bad ones where they belong. I started doing paranormal investigations solo, about 10 years ago at local locations and I believe that being in law enforcement gives a trade-off between both fields. Investigative skills used during work and in the paranormal are sometimes different and sometimes the same. I see this as an opportunity to keep those skills fresh and learn new ones. This is a new era for investigators.” You can email Richard at: richard@everydayparanormalla.com
